Mitt Romney by Justin Merriman











Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney campaigned through Ohio on Tuesday, stopping at Ohio American Energy's, Century Mine in Beallsville, Ohio. The mine is a subsidiary of Murray Energy, which produces over 60% of the coal produced in Ohio. After vising the mine, the Romney campaign stopped at Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl in Zanesville. Train Hits Truck by Justin Merriman

Police and emergency responders are silhouetted against a train that collided with a tractor-trailer Thursday night along East Main Street in East Pittsburgh. Police said the collision occurred about 8:45 p.m. when a Norfolk Southern train pushed at least part of the tractor-trailer several hundred yards along the track. Another train going in the opposite direction also then struck the tractor-trailer, crunching the   between both trains. Preliminary reports from Turtle Creek police indicate that the truck driver and his passenger were able to escape before the collision.
