Hollywood Theater in Dormont's managing director Chad Hunter stands in front of the big screen at the theater. Hunter has stressed the need to upgrade the theater from film and Blu-Ray projectors to a modern digital system. Like the Hollywood, several Pittsburgh-area independent theaters are trying to raise money for the new projection systems because movie distributors are discontinuing their use of film.
