A U.S. Marine honor guard carry the flag-draped casket of Marine Sgt. Ryan Lane, 25, of Castle Shannon, after funeral services at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Bridgeville, PA on Monday afternoon, August 3, 2009. Sgt. Lane was killed in action in the Helmand province of Afghanistan on July 23 of wounds sustained while supporting combat operations. He was buried at the Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Township.
