The Most Reverend William J. Waltersheid, Auxiliary Bishop of Pittsburgh, performs mass at UPMC Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 as part of World Day of the Sick,  a global observance held annually since 1992 to remind the faithful to pray for those who are sick as well as the alleviation of human suffering, to recognize and honor those who work in health care, and caregivers.
