Barnstorming Tour by Justin Merriman

Members of the Josh Gibson All-Stars stand on the field prior to their game against the Anderson Monarchs on Friday at Manchester Field in Manchester.  The game was part of the Monarchs Barnstorming Tour, a 20-city tour to pay tribute to Jackie Robinson, the Negro League, and the Civil Rights Movement.  The teams wore Negro League uniforms with the Josh Gibson All-Stars wearing the Homestead Grays uniform and the Monarchs in their Philadelphia Star uniforms.

The Long Journey Home by Justin Merriman

Marine 1st Sgt. Mario Castaneda, 36, opens the honor wagon to remove the flag-draped casket of Marine Sgt. John McLaughlin on Friday, June 5, 2015, in the Pittsburgh International Airport. Sgt. McLaughlin was killed in a battle at the Choisin Reservoir in Korea in 1950. His remains were identified by dental and x-ray records.
