Tracey Roberson, 44, a veteran of the Army Reserves lives in emergency housing in East Liberty that is paid for by the Veterans Leadership Program of Western Pennsylvania, and is now seeking out a new home for her and her two children.

Yonghong Zhang, 24, a student from Central China Normal University pack potatoes at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank in Duquesne on Friday afternoon, January 17, 2014.  The 35 students from the university made the trip from Pittsburgh's sister city in China, Wuhan in the Hubei province. They are part of an English practicum program working on increasing their knowledge of American culture and learning about hunger relief in the U.S. They packed over 12,000 pounds of potatoes.
