Aug. 2010 - East LibertyIn December 2003, I covered the homecoming of soldiers returning home from Iraq to their base in New Kensington. One of my favorite photos from the day was one of Katie Witcop, holding her son, Evan, and reaching out as the bus carrying her husband, Patrick, pulled into the armory. I've run into Katie a few times since then and today I photographed her welcoming her husband, MSgt. Patrick Witcop, home again from Iraq. At her side are her three children, Meghan, 13, Sarah, 9, and Evan now 6-years-old.
