I've been going through my photographs from over the last few years, and decided to periodically post them to the blog. This particular photograph was taken in 2003. I was on assignment for the Valley News Dispatch and was to go to a local tattoo parlor to photograph a tattoo artist with a drawing of one of his patriotic tattoos. After I photographed him with the drawing I asked him who actually got the tattoo and he told me his girlfriend. I asked if she was around and he offered for me to go back to his apartment to photograph her. I quickly accepted his offer and followed him to his home. Once I was there I didn't want to pass up on the opportunity to photograph both of them together. While the newspaper ran the photo from the tattoo parlor, this was my favorite photo from the shoot.
