Family, friends, and members of the community line Main Street in Claysville, PA to mourn the loss of Sgt. Nathan Kennedy, 24, during funeral services for the fallen soldier on Sunday, May 9, 2010. Sgt. Kennedy was a U.S. Army Ranger who served as a sniper assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, out of Fort Carson, Colorado. He served in Iraq from 2006 to 2007 and began his tour in Afghanistan in June of 2009. He was killed in action in Afghanistan on April 27, 2010.
